"A date?" (Y/n) asks, shocked. Link nods excitedly, grinning.

"Yup~. You're my girlfriend, so of course I'm going to take you on a date!"

The two are sitting in Telma's Bar, with the barkeeper keeping a close eye on the two. Not that they notice, of course.

"What about when we hang out at the bridge? Don't those count as dates?" She teases. Link pouts a little, shaking his head.

"Of course not. Even though I love every moment I'm with you, I want to take you somewhere even more special!" (Y/n) raises an eyebrow.

"Oh? And where is this special place?" He smiles again.

"It's a surprise~." Link stands, stretching. "I gotta go, I still have things to do before our date tonight." He kisses (Y/n)'s cheek, causing her to blush lightly. "See you on the bridge at sunset!" With that, he bolts out of the door.

(Y/n) blinks, staring in the direction her hero left. Telma chuckles as the poor girl snaps out of her dazed state, wondering what Link could possibly have in store for her.

~*Timeskip*~

(Y/n) stands on the bridge linking Kakariko Field with Hyrule Field, the beautiful colors of the sunset illuminating the land with their warm embrace. She left her horse in Kakariko, since Link had sent her a letter saying that they both would be riding Epona, but she could wear her usual clothes. Curious, but not questioning it, she did as the letter asked.

As the sun sets at a slow pace, (Y/n) hears the sound of hooves to her right, which is Hyrule Field. Turning her head, she spots Link guiding Epona, wearing his usual tunic with a warm smile on his face. He slows his chestnut horse to a stop a few feet in front of her. He hops off, and walks up to her.

"You look lovely as always~." (Y/n) blushes as Link takes her hand, kissing it.

"Looks like someone's head is out of the clouds tonight," she teases. Link chuckles.

"Of course, why would it be up in the sky on a special night like this?" He leads her up to Epona, and opens up her saddlebag. Taking out a long, small piece of cloth, he hands it to her. (Y/n) gives him a suspicious look. "It's a blindfold. I said this date is a surprise, and I can't surprise you if your eyes are open." (Y/n) giggles as Link gets back onto the horse and helps her up. After putting on the blindfold and making sure she can't peek, Link clicks his tongue, signaling Epona to start walking.

After a while of riding, Link finally stops his horse. He gets off, then helps (Y/n). Untying the blindfold, she gasps at the sight in front of her.

Link has taken her to Ordon Spring, her favorite out of them all. The sky is now twilight, more commonly known as dusk, and surrounds the spring with an ethereal beauty, making the water seem calm and clear. The falls on the far side create a soothing sound that's pleasing to the ear. But what makes the spring sparkle and seem more mystical are the multiple, pink fairies that seems to dance in the air.

"H-How did you do this?" She asks, shocked. "Fairies don't hang around non-sacred springs unless you go through..." She faces Link who has a grin on his face. "That's what you were doing? Going through the Cave of Ordeals?!" He nods.

"Yup. Actually, I finished all fifty levels."

"Just for tonight?"

"What? Of course not! I completed it so that not only everyone can enjoy the fairies return to the spring, but so this place can be even more special to you," he explains. (Y/n) remains speechless as Link scratches the back of his neck. "Is it too much?" She quickly hugs him.

"No," she whispers. "It's gorgeous. Thank you so much!" She pulls away a little with a laugh, wrapping her arms around his neck as he does the same. "I don't know how you're going to top this~." Link chuckles.

"Don't worry," he reassures her. "I will." With that, the two talk and laugh well into the night, the stars and moon adding more brilliance to the spring in front of them.

To (Y/n), it's the perfect first date.
